At Climbing Hill Canines we produce a few different types of puppies. For the sake of time we will explain them this way: they are different but all in the same family. 

Miniature Australian Shepherd: 

Just as it sounds it is an Australian shepherd that stands below 17 inches for a female and below 18 inches in males.
Miniature American Shepherds: 

These dogs were once strictly mini Aussies but then AKC made a NEW breed specifically for any miniature/toy Aussies that qualified to transfer over to their registry as a Miniature American Shepherd. Current registrations were sent in to verify whether or not each dog qualified to become officially recognized as a Miniature American Shepherd. Though it is technically an entirely different breed it is still the same dog we know and love. 

We take the health of our puppies seriously and offer a comprehensive health guarantee for every puppy we sell. Our puppies are up-to-date on vaccinations and come with a clean bill of health from our veterinarian. We're confident in the quality of our puppies and stand behind them 100%.

Finding your new best friend is such a fun experience. I know, I know sometimes it is a bit taxing, confusing and even sometimes disappointing. That is why we try to make it enjoyable and a very positive experience. 

1. We post updates constantly about upcoming litters, if you see one of our parent dogs that you love and think you may want a puppy JUST like feel free to inquire, I can point you in the right direction. 

2. When puppies are born we will post them onto the website ASAP, tails CAN be kept but you will need to pick your puppy within 24 hours (give or take) of birth. 

3. Pricing will be posted with each puppy to streamline your buying process

4. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your desired puppy

5. All puppies include a contract with a health guarantee, final vet check and current vaccinations before leaving, go home bag full of treats, toys, a free 30 days of pet insurance and any other relevant items to make transition easy peasy. I also offer life long support for all of my puppies, so if any advice is needed you can always reach out. 

6. Full payment is due upon pick up at 8 weeks. When your puppy reaches 8 weeks we will arrange a mutual pick up location that is convenient for all parties. 

If you are looking to simply purchase a pet for your family, truthfully the registrations do not matter, but here is a breakdown for ya!
ASDR: The American Stock Dog Registry  is a registration service for dog breeds such as Australian Shepherds, Australian Cattle Dogs, Border Collies, and Corgis. The ASDR offers titles in areas like conformation, stock dog, and sports like agility and obedience. The registry also requires that dogs be respected members of their local breed community. 

AKC:  The American Kennel club is the oldest and largest not for profit ALL breed registration service. American Kennel club provides registrations for 201 recognized breeds.  AKC also offers titles in areas like conformation,  agility and obedience.  This registry also requires dogs to be respected members of their local community with the added factor of a little more conformation in linage with a required DNA test.
